Ruang ini awalnya adalah sebagai studio pribadi, tetapi setelah kami melakukan renovasi akhirnya muncul keinginan untuk merubah konsep dari studio pribadi menjadi art space dan galeri. Kenapa tidak…..? Ruang yang berlokasi di bagian luar timur desa seni Ubud ini akhirnya menemukan sebuah nama, yakni, BLEDOG ArtSpace. BLEDOG = Anak gajah (bahasa jawa). Meskipun kecil tapi dia adalah anak gajah yang ingin tumbuh besar dan juga lokasi ruang ini berada di jalan Goa gajah, Ubud – bali. BLEDOG Art Space adalah ruang untuk berkreasi, bermain, berekspresi, berexperimentasi, ngobrol, dan ber-apresiasi seni. tidak menutup kemungkinan bisa bekerjasama dengan seniman manapun yang ingin gabung dan mengisi ruang ini, karena Bledog juga ingin menjadi ruang community bagi para pelaku kesenian. Pintu kami selalu terbuka. BLEDOG literally means baby elephant in the Javanese language (we are both from East Java). The name seemed to make sense since we are located on Jl Goa Gaja—the road that leads to Ubud’s Elephant Cave temple. The second reason the name fits is because although our space is small, we, like a baby elephant are able to grow larger over time.
